By LASIS Staff

As we reported last September, under the current legal regime, when you die, your iTunes playlists, Facebook account, and other digital incarnations of your likes and life will, in all likelihood die with you.

That was then.

Now, according the New York Times Bits column, a new feature will allow Google users to add and delete beneficiaries to an account, as in a will, in addition to providing options to de-activate accounts if they are inactive for a certain period of time.
